Belgian multidisciplinary visual artist Ben Heine‘s artistic evolution has been a long process, but its ultimate destination seems to have always been determined. Growing up in the Ivory Coast, he would live there for 7 years with his family before moving to Brussels. It was a child that Ben would learn to communicate his emotions — his fears, his hopes, his energy — through the visual arts, and he would begin a lifelong journey with pencil drawings and paintings. Pencil drawings forced into real photographs which blends as a real scene and the drawing. It really seems like it is part of the real picture.

Detailed Coffee Paintings Of Favourite Characters
Coffee paintings have become one of the artist’s recent projects. He uses water paint paper and around 5 different coffee blends (depending on the subject). He made the first illustration by accident. Now he mostly creates things and figures that he loves, which makes painting them much more fun and challenging in order to get the right shape and shade.
